Questions about Xtranormal search? Maybe this will help:


I'm trying to find a specific movie. Why doesn't it show up? This could be for a few reasons, the most common being:

  1. The words you searched for aren't found anywhere in the story's title or dialogue.
  2. It may have been deleted from Xtranormal by the owner. (But perhaps a copy exists on places like YouTube if you'd like to search those.)
  3. It might have been marked as Hidden or Private by its owner. (Find out more about these privacy options here).
  4. It might have an "R" or "Inappropriate" movie rating. You'll need to try an "unsafe" search to bring these movies up (if you dare!)

Wait, does this mean anyone can find all the movies I make on Xtranormal?

Nope. If you've marked your movie as hidden or private, no one can search for it publicly.


Ok, now I want to change the rating on a movie I made. How?

The system may have given your story an "R" rating by default because it didn't make it through our automated potty-mouth scanning. If you'd like to change your script, movie title, or rating, find out how here.
